Hi I’m Connis Tennessee. I’m passionate about family and football. especially the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. I love reading, exercising, and writing about the goodness of God in my life.
Why I Started This Journey
Well, there are many reasons I started this blog, but mainly I wanted a way to express my faith; I wanted to highlight the goodness of God in my life. Today, there is so much in the world that brings forth darkness, but when you believe in God, you see the light. There is always light in darkness when you know God and see him working in your life.
When I look around this country, I see a lot of what is wrong; I se division and hate; everything that is evil and not of God. However, that is not all I see. I see people making a difference; celebrating what makes us different, but also makes us strong. I see God at work in those who know and love Him. It is with Him and through Him that I find comfort and peace.
So this is my platform of faith. This is me being the light. May God see my light and may His goodness endure forever.
I hope you will come along on this journey of faith with me and that my words proclaiming God’s goodness bring hope and joy to your life, and that you too will share and proclaim God’s word to others so that they may see your light.
My Prayer for You
I pray that His word strengthens you and gives you peace. I pray that you can see His light in a dark world and can proclaim what He has done for you in your life. It is through your good works that others can see God in your life. Don’t hide your light in this dark world.
Shine bright for God. Be His beacon so tat those who are seeking his face can know Him through you.
Also, be His beacon for those who know him but are struggling with their faith for whatever reason. They need to continue to be encouraged that God knows, God sees, and God hears.
So this is my platform of faith. This is me being the light. May God see my light and may His goodness endure forever.
